Students at Good Shepherd
are not only welcome but encouraged to participate in all Good Shepherd
events, activities, and gatherings. There are also many opportunities
for students who would like to volunteer their time and talents including
the praise band, choir, and youth education.
Good Shepherd is also a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
Lutheran Campus Ministry. "Lutheran Campus Ministry assists persons in
academic settings to discover and fulfill their vocation in Jesus Christ.
This ministry has its roots in the Christian community gathered by the
Spirit through the proclamation of the word of God and the celebration of
the sacraments. Students are the largest constituency and basic focus of the
campus ministry program."
Students may find fellowship with the MTU Student Organization, Lutheran
Student Movement. Lutheran Student Movement was founded to give MTU
students a medium to meet and associate with other Lutheran peers. If
